As time goes by I see more and more how we have missed and keep missing something. We have lost and continue to lose the meaning of Christmas and not to mention everything else.
Gone are the days when the bible “God’s word” was pushed and going to church was almost compulsory. Now, as one generation leaves behind these, the next is left ignorant and a hole begins to increase, today there is a gaping hole where kids don’t know Jesus and don’t know about the God of the bible. This is where we see a breakdown in the fundamental things that were garnered from the word of God. Forsaking the truths and running with falsehood. Therefore the law is ignored and justice is never upheld. “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil; who substitues darkness for light and light for darkness; who substitutes sweet for bitter and bitter for sweet. Isaiah 5 verse 20 “ ” For the wicked surround the righteous; therefore justice comes out perverted. Habakkuk 1 verse 4“ What is imperative is seen as archaic and unnecessary.
People wonder what the world is coming to but are unwilling to take themselves out of the turmoil when the solution is presented. It’s like they’re saying I hear you but I’ll rather carry on anyhow. Can you imagine if we listened to God more and chose Him rather than our own ways, how much better would life be? How much better would our kids or relationships be? I’ll tell you.. completely.
Our first commandment is “Love the Lord thy God with all your heart with all your soul and with all your might.Deuteronomy 6 verse 5 “ In doing this, and since God is love, it will filter down to every area in your life since you have sought the source. Many people say that they are Christians and fail in this area because of a lack of intimacy or true relationship with God.
May sound offensive to some but homosexuality is wrong and so is adultery, theft, lying, murder fornication, getting drunk and so on. I feel like, in fact people who would see a statement like this would block everything else out and just focus on the fact that I said homosexuality is wrong and ignore the other sins listed. I am not homophobic this would imply that I am afraid of homosexuals. I am not! To think that is ignorant. People push to have laws changed to suit their own agenda which is exactly why the world is in so much chaos. There is an indifference and an accepting of everything the world pushes out. ” Hey its ok as long as you’re not hurting anyone”, well you have just disregarded your own life because you’re hurting yourself plunging everyone else into more and more darkness because your sin affects others too. If I steal from my neighbour, guess what it affects my neighbour.If I fornicate that’s one more person I’ve intruded in on and blocked them from engaging in a proper relationship. Or, I could potentially have child which is unplanned and unwanted but having to face that fact do drastic things like abort(murder) or raise that child without father, hindering that child’s right to a mother and father household.Note having a child outside of wedlock is not a sin it’s a consequence Controversial? No! Fact!
How many more diseases will come because of our disobedience? No one knows but they will come. “For nations will rise against nations, kingdoms against kingdoms: and there shall be famines and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.Matthew 24 verses 7-8 ”
Your greed is sin and it affects everyone. Your hate is sin and it affects everyone. Your lust and immoral way of living affects everyone. Don’t just think about yourself. We are all guilty but Jesus paid the price with His life. Are you willing to pay for your sin forever and ever? I’m not and so I turned to Him who is faithfully perfecting me daily. You might say you don’t believe but you are deceived into thinking that even if you don’t and you die and face the righteous judged that you will make it through those pearly gates. “Jesus said unless a man or woman be born again he will not inherit the Kingdom of God. John 3 verse 3 “ “…I am the way the truth and the life no one comes to the father except by me.John 14 verse 6 ”
How can you be forgiven you ask? Turn to Jesus ask for forgiveness of your sins. Repent; as in turn away from those sins and trust in Jesus Christ and let him begin to change you through reading the bible, praying and gathering together with others to hear preaching which should be in line with the bible.
No group that gathers and calls themselves a church and doesn’t not uphold the word of God will make it. The judgement is already written.Whilst there is still time and grace being poured out Repent.
Now we’re about to face the misappropriation of Christmas. The joining of the two words Christ (referring to Jesus) and Mass (as in a gathering) is not for you to give gifts but so that you could know that on this day we celebrate the birth of the greatest gift of all. Though it may not be the actual day, it’s still the day we’ve used. The day that Jesus Christ came into this world and though yet we have moved away from him generation by generation, going our own way He was born to the give Himself to be a bridge between us and the father. To die for the sins of this world. “But God commandeth His love towards us, in that whist we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5 verse 8 ”
Some people will get right with God others won’t but let’s spread the message of hope that Jesus had to have come to have died for us.
A thought: He’s the most famously loved and most famously rejected and to reject the Jesus is to reject the the one who sent Him. “He that heareth you heareth me and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth Him that sent me. Luke 10 verse 16 ”
Please note this: Every law is necessary but outside the law of God is a violation of a true Christian’s belief but more especially the violation of the true and righteous Judge.
